AuthorizeNet Signup

Do you have an existing merchant account and you want to process via AuthorizeNet?

This document will describe how to get an AuthorizeNet account given you already have a credit card merchant account.

This is only possible if your acquiring bank (who holds your merchant account) can process using one of the 5 “end processors”.

bulletVital (VisaNet)
bulletNova
bulletPaymentech
bulletFDC Nashville
bulletFDC Omaha (FDCO)
bulletGlobal Payments (NDC)

To find out which is processing your credit card merchant account, you will most likely have to call your bank or the ISO that issued your merchant account.  If it cannot be processed on one of the 5 end processors, then you cannot get an AuthorizeNet Account unless you get a new merchant account.  If you need a new merchant account, Inventive Labs can help you with that as well. Click here to signup for a new merchant account.

I do process through one of the above, how do I get an AuthorizeNet account?

Inventive Labs can do this for you free of charge.  AuthorizeNet will charge you $15 per month for up to 250 transactions.  For each additional transaction over 250 per month, they will charge you .05 per transaction.  In addition, there is a one-time setup fee of $99.  If you are switching from another gateway such as CyberCash, often times there is a promotion that waives this fee.  Inventive Labs must charge you the $99 since this fee is charged to us by AuthorizeNet.  I can assure you that there is no markup on this fee.
