• Baud Rate - Select the baud rate to use for communicating with the paging service. You should get this parameter from your paging company. Normally paging companies still use lower baud rates. If you are having problems try these baud rates in the following order: 2400 baud, Even Parity, 7 data bits, One stop bit 300 baud, Even Parity, 7 data bits, one stop bit 1200 baud, No Parity , 8 data bits, one stop bit

• Parity - Select the parity to use. The default is Even. This is what is normally used.

• Data Bits - Select the data bits to use. The default is 7. This is what is normally used.

• Stop Bits - Select the stop bits to use. The default is One. This is what is normally used.
